Denver Broncos Final Mock Draft: Building the Future of the Mile High

 By: Carson Childs

With less than a week until the 2025 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos are poised to make strategic moves that could shape the future of the franchise. With a keen eye on bolstering both their offensive weaponry, the Broncos' front office has analyzed prospects to ensure they select the best talent available at pick 20. In this final mock draft, we will delve into the potential picks that could lead the Broncos back to glory and solidify their standing in the league.

To see who will be the best available prospect for the Broncos' first round selection, we will dive into who we believe will be taken before the Broncos pick.

1. Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward, QB, Miami (FL)

2. Cleveland Browns: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

3. New York Giants: Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

4. New England Patriots: Travis Hunter, WR, Colorado

5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Mason Graham, DL, Michigan

6. Las Vegas Raiders: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

7. New York Jets: Will Campbell, OT, LSU

8. Carolina Panthers: Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia

9. New Orleans Saints: Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss

10. Chicago Bears: Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas

11. San Francisco 49ers: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

12. Dallas Cowboys: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

13. Miami Dolphins: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

14. Indianapolis Colts: Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

15. Atlanta Falcons: Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M

16. Arizona Cardinals: Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia

17. Cincinnati Bengals: Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon

18. Seattle Seahawks: Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Malaki Starks, S, Georgia

After the following picks, here are the prospective realistic options Denver will have at 20.

1. Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
2. Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
3. Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri
4. TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Ohio State

Although this overall running back class is extremely deep, the Broncos will likely select running back Omarion Hampton at pick 20.

Denver's biggest weakness during the 2024 season was their rushing attack, and with the Broncos unlikely trading up for Ashton Jeanty, Omarion Hampton would be a smart selection with their pick here. This pick would provide an immediate boost to their rushing attack, as Hampton's combination of speed, agility, and vision makes him a dynamic playmaker capable of breaking big runs and contributing in the passing game.

Hampton's value has only gone up since his strong combine performance, as he is now expected to go in the mid to late first round.

Hampton was one of the faster running backs in this class, running a 4.46 40-yard dash, and a ten-yard split of 1.54 seconds. Hampton also stands 6 feet tall and weighs 221 pounds.

These bigger backs with immense speed are rare to find in the league, and are the perfect fit for Sean Payton's offense.
